hi, in reguards to the british marine uniforms 1790’s what did the fatique hat look like,i am a british marine reenactor in australia and my friend who is maltese told me about this group.
Hello! We attended “In Guardia!” more then ten years ago in Fort St. Elmo and have been very impressed. Since our hometown Kronach suffered a ‘similar’ siege by the Swedish in 1632 to 1634, we then established our own reenactment group here. Although there are some decades between our respective time-windows, there are obviously many similiarities in clothing, armour and equipment. And, like you, we are very fond of black powder, of course ;-)) So we would appreciate like to have contact and maybe, some day there will be a possibility for a visit.
Best regards, Walter Schinzel-Lang, Obrist-Wachtmeister of the Cronacher Ausschuss Compagnie (Kronach, Germany)
